Our PTFa: Supporting St. Vincent de Paul School1. What is the PTFA Fr?

The PTFA (Parents, Teachers & Friends Association) plays a vital role in supporting St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Primary School. As school funding continues to decrease, the PTFA helps ensure that our children enjoy the high-quality learning experiences they deserve.

Every pound raised goes directly back into our school, funding essential resources and exciting opportunities that enrich our children’s education. PTFA is a charity and the fundraising supports:

  • Classroom resources beyond state funding: books, computers, TVs, stationery, and learning materials.
  • Educational apps and subscriptions such as Times Tables Rock Stars, SPAG, Busy Things, and Class Dojo.
  • School trips and special experiences that create lifelong memories and extend learning beyond the classroom.
  • Arts, sports, and enrichment activities that help every child grow, explore, and achieve their potential.
  • Community events that strengthen our school spirit and bring families together.

When parents support the PTFA, they’re directly improving the education, experiences, and wellbeing of every child at St. Vincent de Paul.

2. Who are we? And who can join the PTFA?

The PTFA is a welcoming community made up of parents, carers, teachers, and friends of St. Vincent de Paul School. If you are part of our school family, you can be part of the PTFA.

There’s no membership fee, no special requirements, and no minimum time commitment. Whether you have lots of time or only a little, everyone is welcome.

You can get involved by:

New members, new ideas, and fresh voices help make our events and fundraising even stronger. Joining the PTFA is a wonderful way to support your child’s school life and connect with the wider school community.

3. Donations: Every contribution helps

The PTFA is a charity and relies on regular support from parents to run events, fund school resources, and provide additional opportunities for our children. We appreciate any time you can give: whether it’s helping at a fair, supporting a bake sale, setting up an event, or sharing ideas.

But we also know that not everyone has time to volunteer.

If you still want to make a positive impact, you can contribute through our PTFA donation page. (HERE),
